Registration meeting

Before meeting us face-to-face, you’ll undergo a pre-screening telephone interview. At the registration meeting, you’ll see a QTS consultant that specialises in your area of expertise. We’ll discuss your requirements and experience, so that we can and the best career opportunitiesfor you. You will be asked to fillin our registration and equal opportunities forms and agree to our terms and conditions.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, so we do require anyone who comes for interview to undergo stringent vetting checks as part of our Safer Recruitment Policy.

Our Registration Process

The consultant who invites you to a face-to-face interview will ask you to bring the following documents:

  1. Proof of your right to work in the UK – your passport and national insurance number or employment visa documentation
  2. Proof of your ID – passport /driving licence/birth certificate
  3. Proof of your address – an original bank statement or utility bill dated within the past three months
  4. Your current DBS certificate (formerly known as a CRB). If you don’t have a current DBS certificate, we can help you get one- you will need to bring certain documentation with you to your interview.
  5. Contact details for at least two professional referees - a minimum of two are required and they must include a professional work email address
  6. Current bank account details
  7. Overseas police check(s) - for stays over three months*
  8. Proof of name change - e.g. marriage certificate*
  9. Original teaching qualification certificate - verified by DfE/QTLS or UK NARIC if awarded overseas*
  10. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) certificate*
